Method
- Peel and thinly slice onions into rings. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour and spices, one with eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs.
- Coat onion rings in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Arrange onion rings in a single layer in the basket. Spray lightly with oil.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Cool on a wire rack and serve warm.
Notes
For best crunch, eat immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container and re-crisp in the air fryer.
