Ingredients
  

Fries
  • 2 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into fries
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch for crispiness
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Wash, peel, and cut the sweet potatoes into evenly sized thin fries.
  2. Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and dry the fries thoroughly with paper towels.
  4. Toss the fries with olive oil, cornstarch, and seasonings until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  6. Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  7. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.
  8. Increase temperature to 400°F (204°C) and cook 3–5 more minutes until crispy and golden.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket and cook in batches if necessary.
