Method
- Bring water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
- Add sliced apple and cinnamon sticks.
- Simmer for 8–10 minutes to release flavors.
- Remove from heat and add tea bags.
- Steep for 3–5 minutes depending on desired strength.
- Remove tea bags and stir in honey or lemon if desired.
- Serve hot or allow to cool and pour over ice.
Notes
Add ginger or cloves for extra spice flavor.
