Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh dill chopped
  • lemon slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake salmon for 12–15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Dijon mustard; simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in chopped dill and remove sauce from heat.
  7. Serve baked salmon fillets with sauce spooned over the top and garnish with lemon slices.
