Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Filling
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and butter until crumbly. Press into the pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden, then set aside.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans and pour over baked crust.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the filling is set and golden.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

For neat cuts, chill bars before slicing. Store in airtight container for up to 5 days.
