Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb bacon cooked crisp and chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup light corn syrup
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Method
 

  1. Cook sugar mixture to hard crack stage.
  2. Stir in butter, bacon, nuts, bourbon, and vanilla.
  3. Add baking soda and spread brittle thin.
  4. Cool completely and break into pieces.

Avoid humidity to keep brittle crisp.
