Ingredients
  

Herbal Tonic
  • 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers
  • 0.5 tsp dried culinary lavender buds
  • 1.5 cups hot water
  • 1-2 tsp honey to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional
  • 2 tbsp warm almond milk optional

Equipment

  • Teapot or heat-safe mug
  • Tea infuser or strainer
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat water until hot but not boiling.
  2. Place chamomile flowers and lavender buds into a tea infuser or mug.
  3. Pour hot water over the herbs and cover.
  4. Steep for 5–7 minutes.
  5. Remove herbs or strain the tea.
  6. Stir in honey until dissolved.
  7. Add lemon juice and warm milk if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy before bedtime.

Notes

Drink about 30 minutes before bedtime for best relaxation benefits.
