Ingredients
  

Ground Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Cheddar Bay Biscuit Topping
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain excess grease.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper and simmer briefly.
  4. Transfer beef mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Mix biscuit topping ingredients until just combined.
  6. Drop biscuit dough evenly over beef mixture.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 30–35 minutes until golden.
