Ingredients
  

Meat Mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20
  • 1 egg large
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Fillings & Wrap
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese cut into cubes
  • 10-12 slices bacon thick-cut
  • 0.5-0.75 cup BBQ sauce

Method
 

  1. Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape meat into balls and insert a cube of cheddar in the center.
  3. Wrap each ball with 1–2 slices of bacon.
  4. Brush lightly with BBQ sauce and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 25–30 minutes, brushing again halfway through.
  6. Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure meatballs are sealed well to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
