- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, milk, cheddar, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and sear chicken pieces until browned. Remove from skillet.
- Melt butter in skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in flour to form a roux and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in chicken broth and milk until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in Worcestershire and Dijon if using.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer until cooked through.
- Serve chicken and garlic gravy over cheesy mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add 2 oz cream cheese to the mashed potatoes.
