Flatbread Base
  • 2 flatbreads or naan
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Toppings
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 5-6 fresh basil leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place flatbreads on the baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each flatbread.
  4. Add dollops of cottage cheese across the surface.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and seasonings on top.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden finish if desired.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use thick naan or sturdy flatbread for the best texture and higher protein balance.
