Ingredients
  

Dip Base
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
Toppings & Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa mild or medium
  • 0.5 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeƱo diced, optional
  • cilantro for garnish
Serving
  • tortilla chips or crackers for serving

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly in a shallow serving dish.
  3. Top with salsa, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, and black olives.
  4. Sprinkle green onions, jalapeƱos, and cilantro on top.
  5. Chill for at least 10 minutes before serving with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

Assemble toppings just before serving for best presentation. Can be made ahead and stored in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
