- Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Fold in shredded cheddar, red onion, bell pepper, and half of the tomatoes.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Top with remaining tomatoes, avocado, jalapeño, and cilantro before serving.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
Add avocado just before serving to prevent browning. Can be made a day ahead.
