Ingredients
  

Cowboy Butter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Allow butter to soften at room temperature.
  2. Mix softened butter with garlic, Dijon, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, chives, paprika, chili flakes, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Stir until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Use immediately or roll into a log and refrigerate until firm.
  5. Serve on steak, seafood, vegetables, bread, or potatoes.

Notes

Add smoked paprika or cayenne for deeper flavor or heat.
