Casserole
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup diced carrots fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
Topping
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.25 tsp paprika optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles until al dente, then drain.
  3. Mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley together.
  4. Fold in chicken, peas, carrots, noodles, and cheddar cheese.
  5. Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  6. Combine melted butter with breadcrumbs and paprika, then sprinkle over casserole.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Add extra cheese for a richer casserole. Perfect for leftovers and meal prep.
