Ingredients
  

Cranberry Mixture
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 2 jalapeños seeded and diced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 0.25 cup green onions chopped
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt
Creamy Base
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup sour cream optional

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Mixing bowls
  • Rubber spatula
  • Serving platter

Method
 

  1. Add cranberries to food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Add jalapeños, cilantro, and green onions. Pulse a few times to mix.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, stir in sugar, lime juice, and salt. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth. Spread in serving dish.
  5. Drain cranberry mixture and spoon over cream cheese layer.
  6. Garnish with jalapeño slices and cilantro. Serve with crackers or crostini.

Notes

Drain the cranberry mixture well before topping the dip to prevent excess liquid.
