Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg, egg yolk, vanilla, orange zest, and orange juice; mix until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold until a dough forms.
- Fold in dried cranberries and optional white chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
- Cool on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Do not overbake for soft, chewy cookies.
