- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Fold in cranberries and orange zest.
- Whisk cream, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla; add to dry mixture and stir until dough forms.
- Shape into a 1-inch thick circle, cut into 8 wedges, and place on baking sheet.
- Brush with cream and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly and drizzle with maple glaze before serving.
