Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 cup coconut milk full-fat
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom pods crushed
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup to taste
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Strainer
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Simmer water with spices and ginger.
  2. Steep tea bags, then remove.
  3. Add coconut milk and warm gently.
  4. Sweeten, strain if desired, and serve.

Notes

Do not boil after adding coconut milk.
