- Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Add tortellini and cook uncovered for 7–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
- Stir in parmesan cheese and simmer until thickened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve warm with extra parmesan.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add a spoon of cream cheese. For a lighter sauce, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
