Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich

Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive or vegetable oil for frying
Sandwich Components
  • 4 sandwich buns lightly toasted
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 0.5 cup Caesar dressing
  • Extra Parmesan for garnish

Method
 

  1. Flatten chicken to even thickness and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Set up breading station: flour, beaten eggs, panko-Parmesan mixture.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in panko-Parmesan mixture.
  4. Heat ¼ inch oil in skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and 165°F internally.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Assemble sandwiches: spread Caesar dressing on buns, layer lettuce and crispy chicken, sprinkle extra Parmesan.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crunch, bake chicken in oven at 400°F for 20 minutes instead of frying.
