Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings split
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
BBQ Sauce
  • 0.75 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
  4. Toss wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
  6. Bake 25 minutes, flip wings, then bake another 20–25 minutes until crispy.
  7. Warm BBQ sauce, honey, and vinegar together in a saucepan.
  8. Toss baked wings in the BBQ sauce and return to the oven for 5 minutes if desired.
  9. Serve hot with garnish and dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, allow wings to air dry in the refrigerator for 1 hour before baking.
