Roast
  • 3-4 lbs chuck roast
  • 4 cups baby potatoes
  • 3 carrots chunked
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth

Equipment

  • Crock pot / slow cooker
  • Skillet (optional)
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Season and optionally sear the chuck roast.
  2. Layer vegetables in crock pot and place roast on top.
  3. Add broth mixture and cook until fork-tender.
  4. Thicken gravy if desired and serve.

Best cooked on LOW for maximum tenderness.
