Ingredients
  

Chicken & Sauce
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup canned
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 packet Italian seasoning mix dry
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced, optional
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
To Serve
  • 12 oz angel hair pasta
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Mixing bowl
  • Saucepan
  • Forks for shredding

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add mushrooms on top if using.
  3. Whisk together cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, broth, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, butter, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Pour mixture over the chicken.
  5. Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken and mix back into the creamy sauce.
  7. Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions.
  8. Serve creamy chicken mixture over pasta and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add 1/4 cup heavy cream at the end.
