Ingredients
  

Sweet Potatoes
  • 3-4 sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
Topping
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Mixing spoon

Method
 

  1. Add cubed sweet potatoes to the crockpot.
  2. Top with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 5–6 hours.
  4. Stir the potatoes gently to coat in the melted mixture.
  5. Add marshmallows on top and cook an additional 10–15 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

Add pecans for extra crunch and flavor.
