  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 16 oz jar salsa
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese cubed

Equipment

  • Slow cooker
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring spoons
  • Mixing spoon

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Pour salsa on top and cover the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Add cubed cream cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  7. Serve warm in tacos, bowls, or your favorite dishes.

Notes

Use any salsa variety you like. Adjust heat level by choosing mild, medium, or hot salsa.
