Ingredients
  

Rice Base
  • 1.5 cups long-grain white rice uncooked
  • 2.5 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp butter cut into pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 eggs large

Equipment

  • 9x13 baking dish
  • Aluminum foil
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease baking dish.
  2. Add rice and vegetables to dish.
  3. Mix broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and pepper.
  4. Pour liquid over rice and dot with butter.
  5. Cover and bake for 35 minutes.
  6. Stir in eggs and bake covered for 10–15 more minutes.
  7. Fluff and garnish before serving.

Notes

Seal foil tightly to ensure rice cooks evenly.
