Ingredients
  

Pancake Batter
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 1 egg large
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
  4. Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes.
  5. Heat a lightly greased pan over medium heat.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
  7. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with desired toppings.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter and always let it rest for fluffier pancakes.
