Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/2 cup sugar. Spread evenly on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 7–8 minutes until golden and caramelized. Let cool completely, then break into clusters.
- Beat softened cream cheese with remaining 1/2 cup sugar until smooth.
- Fold in drained pineapple, then fold in whipped topping.
- Fold in half the pretzel clusters. Top with remaining clusters before serving.
Notes
Add pretzels just before serving to maintain crunch.
