Ramen
  • 2 boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 packs ramen noodles discard seasoning packets
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp chili paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs soft boiled
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook in a skillet with vegetable oil until golden and fully cooked.
  2. Boil ramen noodles according to package directions and drain.
  3. Melt butter in a large pot and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chili paste, chili flakes, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add heavy cream and cook until the broth becomes creamy.
  7. Add cooked noodles and stir gently.
  8. Divide into bowls and top with sliced chicken and soft boiled eggs.

Notes

Adjust chili level depending on spice preference. Add mushrooms, spinach, or corn for extra toppings.
