Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 4 slices bread sourdough or sandwich bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese optional
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place two slices butter-side down and add mozzarella, cheddar, and optional parmesan.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices butter-side up.
  5. Cook sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese melts.
  6. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt and flavor.
