Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground beef 80/20 blend recommended
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs or 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup for topping
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan for topping

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Loaf pan
  • Oven

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare loaf pan.
  2. Combine all meatloaf ingredients (except topping) in a bowl; mix gently.
  3. Form mixture into loaf shape and place in pan.
  4. Spread ketchup over top and sprinkle 2 tbsp Parmesan.
  5. Bake for 50–60 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice and serve with sides of choice.

Notes

Optional: Broil 2–3 minutes at the end for extra golden crust.
