Method
- Place chicken on a heatproof plate and season with salt, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Add sliced ginger on top of the chicken.
- Steam chicken for 18–22 minutes until cooked through.
- Place chopped spring onions and minced ginger in a bowl.
- Heat oil until very hot and pour over scallions and ginger.
- Add salt and soy sauce to the oil mixture.
- Pour spring onion oil over the steamed chicken.
- Garnish and serve immediately.

Serve with steamed rice for a classic meal.
