- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and caramel pieces.
- Spread batter evenly in pan. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips and a pinch of sea salt on top.
- Bake 25–30 minutes, until edges are golden but center is soft.
- Cool completely on wire rack. Lift with parchment and cut into bars.
Notes
Bars stay soft for 3 days in an airtight container. Freeze for longer storage.
