  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season evenly.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken 5–7 minutes without moving.
  4. Flip, lower heat, add butter, and baste.
  5. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
