- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch cake pan.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Mix in Greek yogurt until smooth.
- Fold in dry ingredients gently until fully incorporated.
- Add optional mix-ins if desired.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack. Serve plain or with toppings.
