Main Ingredients
  • 4 boneless pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or 2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary or 1 tbsp fresh, chopped
  • 12 oz green beans trimmed

Method
 

  1. Pat pork chops dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
  2. Turn Instant Pot to sauté function. Add olive oil and sear pork chops 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the Instant Pot and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
  5. Return pork chops to the pot. Lock lid, set to Manual/High Pressure for 8 minutes.
  6. Quick release pressure. Open lid, add green beans.
  7. Lock lid again, cook on high pressure for 2 minutes. Quick release.
  8. Serve pork chops with green beans and spoon cooking liquid over meat. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear pork chops in butter instead of olive oil, and adjust seasoning to taste.
