Method
- Heat vegetable oil in skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Divide rice into bowls and top with beef, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, and green onions.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
Notes
Optional: add a fried egg on top or drizzle with sriracha for extra flavor.
