Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 0.33 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and seasonings.
  4. Simmer until sauce thickens and coats beef.
  5. Serve over warm rice and garnish as desired.

Notes

Add gochujang for extra heat.
