Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Earl Grey tea leaves finely ground
  • 0.5 tsp culinary lavender crushed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup milk or cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, Earl Grey tea, and lavender.
  3. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until dough forms.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool completely on wire racks before serving.

Notes

Use culinary lavender only. Grind tea finely for best texture.
