Mexican Wontons

Ingredients
  

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican-blend cheese
  • 0.5 cup black beans rinsed and drained
  • 0.5 cup corn
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray

  • Muffin tin
  • Skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Oven

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Press wonton wrappers into muffin wells to form cups.
  3. Bake wrappers for 5–6 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain fat and add taco seasoning.
  5. Fill wonton cups with beef, beans, corn, and cheese.
  6. Bake for 7–8 minutes until cheese is melted and cups are crispy.
  7. Top with sour cream, salsa, and cilantro before serving.

Notes

Add toppings just before serving to keep wontons crispy.
