Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 6 eggs large
  • 0.5 cup milk or cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 0.5 cup diced bell peppers
  • 0.5 cup spinach or greens chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Shells
  • 12 mini heart-shaped pastry shells store-bought or homemade

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Mini muffin or tart pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in cheese, peppers, and spinach.
  3. Spoon filling into mini heart-shaped pastry shells.
  4. Bake 15–18 minutes until set and golden.
  5. Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Do not overfill shells to avoid spills.
