Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 2 cups Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 cup raw almonds or walnuts
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt
  • 2-3 tbsp almond milk as needed
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Pulse nuts in a food processor until crumbly.
  3. Add dates and blend until sticky and well combined.
  4. Add cocoa powder, coconut oil, vanilla, and salt, then blend until a thick dough forms.
  5. Add almond milk gradually if mixture is too dry.
  6. Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
  7. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or freeze until firm.
  8. Slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For best texture, use soft Medjool dates and chill thoroughly before slicing.
