Ingredients
  

Pasta Skillet
  • 12 oz pasta any variety
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 10 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan freshly grated
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook for 6–8 minutes until softened and browned.
  3. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute.
  4. Add pasta and pour in the broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  6. Reduce heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring well.
  7. Add Parmesan gradually and stir until melted into a creamy sauce.
  8. Fold in spinach and cook until wilted, then serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
