Method
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Add sausage and brown on both sides.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add uncooked pasta, chili flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in chicken broth, BBQ sauce, and honey. Mix well.
- Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Uncover and cook a few minutes more to reduce sauce into a glossy glaze.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Add cheddar or smoked gouda for a cheesy version. Adjust spice by adding more chili flakes.
