Oreo Cinnamon Rolls

Soft, gooey cinnamon rolls filled with crushed Oreos and topped with rich cream cheese frosting. A cookies & cream twist on a breakfast classic!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 3/4 cup warm milk 110°F
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for filling
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 10 Oreo cookies crushed, for filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter softened, for frosting
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk for thinning frosting
  • 4 Oreo cookies crushed, for topping

Method
 

  1. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add milk, butter, and egg, mixing into dough. Knead 5–7 minutes.
  2. Let dough rise 1 hour until doubled.
  3. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, and crushed Oreos to make filling.
  4. Roll dough into rectangle, spread filling, and roll tightly. Cut into rolls.
  5. Place in pan, let rise 30–45 minutes, then bake at 350°F for 22–25 minutes.
  6. Mix cream cheese, butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, and milk for frosting.
  7. Frost warm rolls and top with crushed Oreos before serving.

Notes

For extra gooey rolls, pour 2 tbsp heavy cream over dough before baking.
