- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread bread cubes evenly.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour mixture evenly over bread and gently press to soak.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Let casserole sit at room temperature 20 minutes.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
- Rest 10 minutes before serving with maple syrup.
