Ingredients
  

Pasta Skillet
  • 12 oz pasta any variety
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 10 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan grated
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook 6–8 minutes until softened and browned.
  3. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute.
  4. Add uncooked pasta and pour in the broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  6. Reduce heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring until combined.
  7. Add Parmesan gradually, stirring until melted into the sauce.
  8. Fold in spinach and cook until wilted, then serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
