Method
- Freeze mozzarella sticks for 30–45 minutes.
- Set up breading stations: flour, egg+milk, and seasoned panko.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat for extra crispiness.
- Freeze breaded sticks for 1–2 hours.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry 3–4 sticks at a time for 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Heat marinara sauce with olive oil and basil for dipping.
- Serve mozzarella sticks immediately with dipping sauce.

Double freezing and double breading ensures perfect crispy sticks.
