Method
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and toss with a little sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned, 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger; cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, and red bell pepper. Whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, salt, and pepper. Toss with vegetables.
- Assemble bowls with noodles first, top with pork mixture and a scoop of cabbage slaw.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crunch, toast the sesame seeds. Adjust spice level by omitting or adding crushed red pepper flakes.
